Set of Two Antique Chinese Red Queen Anne Chairs

Two beautiful circa 1900 = 1910 Queen Anne style high back chairs painted in Chinese red enamel with an individually hand painted Chinese figure, bird and temple placed on the back of each chair.

 

Each chair is 38" tall and has a finely covered decorative seat that is 22" x 16". The chair seat is supported by metal springs and inter woven burlap type cloth as used in by gone times. 

 

Both chairs are comfortable. There are typical age scuffs on the bottom of each leg, but there is a great appeal to each chair which is heavy, strong and sturdy. Nice accent to any home. Recommend local pickup. Price for set of two $350 SOLD
